A friend of mine just introduced me to the work of Uta Barth and already I am absolutely in love. I'm bowled over by the way she uses light to achieve abstraction. She also shoots exclusively in her house enabling her to capture the fleeting ephemeral qualities that exists within the mundane everyday, while still maintaining the sense of wonder which is the true essence of life (or so i believe).
